Obama will be in Iowa during the election evening, where he started four mounths ago to get a nomination. The circle is round, the message seems to be. Obama thinks to achieve tuesday a majority of the 'normal' delegates, so he would be able to claim victory. And that all in Iowa, where he started his victory succesion, and which he hopes to get back in november in the Democratic camp.

But: according to political analyst Michael Barone Obama will not get the needed delegates on tuesday, and he just has to wait till the 3th of june (Montana and South Dakota will vote). Between it also Puerto Rico will vote (1 juni). And: a sub commission of the Democratic Party decides if they count Florida and Michigan (31st of may). Enough data to get aware of.

Clinton is still on campaign, but she does not attack Obama anymore that much. It looks like she wants to stop her failed campaign respectable.

Obama is preparing himself for the race against McCain. In Portland (Oregon) he had the biggest audience so far: 75-thousand people. Next week he will visit Florida for three days, a classical swing state where also McCain thinks to have a good chance in november.

John Edwards supports Obama

Amazingly fast the photo appeared on Obama’s website: the candidate next to his new supporter, John Edwards. At january the 30th he quited the election race, and now finally he spoked. Wednesday they appeared togehter on a loud campaign meeting in swing state Michigan. Typical a worker state where Edwards support could help. Obama lobbied really hard for it.

How further? Edwards participated in Iowa, New Hampshire and South Carolina and had 18 delegates. These are free to choose for who wants them. Will they really choose Edwards? Yesterday Edwars won the pre-elections in West Virginia with 7 percent of the votes. For somebody who is already three months out it is a lot. It shows how loyal Edwards supporters are. So it is not said that they will all support Obama, while a lot of campaign members of Edwards did. The same for some big trade unions.

But Edwards’ support is ofcourse very welcome. Not because Obama wants to get rid of Clinton definitely - the race ended already. (Infact it will help: say the 18 delegates will support Obama, then he needs only about 25 delegates to get a majority of the ‘pledged delegates'. This border he will pass probably tuesday, after the elections in Kentucky en Oregon.)

Clinton wins a state again

Hillary smashes Barack Obama in West Virginia: she wins with two-third of the votes. almost never the difference was that big. Within white people Clinton wins with 68 against 28 percent. The victory is probably too late to give her the nomination. West Virginia (28 delegates) is also too small. But: Clinton continues.

These 28 delegates are like usual proportional divided. Perhaps Clinton will get 10 delegates closer to Obama. But he will still lead with 150 delegates. But though: Obama called Clinton to congratulate her (on her voice-mail actually.) Obama was tuesday evening in Missouri - they voted already overthere, but in november it is probably a a swing state. Wednesday Obama will be in Michigan, also that kind of state. It is clear: he is focussing more and more on november. More Significant than Clintons victory in West Virginia: a third lost in short time for the Republican Party. This time a seat in the Chamber of Deputies according to the state Mississippi. Since 1994 it was a Republican state. Now not anymore. For who still doubted about the comatose position of the party.

Sebelius, the new running mate of Obama?

Pronouncing without a hitch please: Obama-Sebelius. Admit: It sounds way more exotic than Bush-Cheney or Kerry-Edwards. Kathleen Sebelius is the governor of Kansas, and in several sources she gets high credits to be the possible running mate of Barack Obama. Plus: a preliminary on Obama vs McCain.
Sebelius would help solving Obama’s problems with white women - and she is amazingly popular as a governor in one of those Republican states which Obama thinks to be able to convert. There will be passing a lot of other names, but watch the name of Sebelius. Maybe she will become the second woman on a presedential ticket - with in that case a better overlook on the White House than the first one, Geraldine Ferraro as running mate of Mondale in 1984.

What kind of election battle is expected in the autumn in America? There are two possibilities.

Possibility one: Obama and McCain keep their promise to do another kind of campaign. Cleaner and more about the content. Exciting is the idea McCain promoted, which was accepted by Obama enthousiastic: the two candidates which travel together across the country for a serie of meetings with voters. In the autumn the traditional debates will take place, but during the 'townhall meetings’ which McCain is promoting now, direct contact with the voter has to be an important fact. 150 years ago something comparable took place: seven debates between Abraham Lincoln and Stephen Douglas, which fighted for a Senate seat for Illinois. Candidate 1 speaks an hour, then candidate 2 one and a half hour, then candidate 1 another hour. Afterwards there is time for questions from the audience. So an unconventional way.

Possibility two: It will become a ‘Swift Boating times five.’ Away with the election romance from above: Finally all the good meaning will die in the hard fight for power. The verb ’swift boating’ became standard politic jargon in 2004. The Republicans were doubting the war history of John Kerry, with help of the Swift Boat Veterans For Truth, an obscure veteran club which said that Kerry as a boat commandant on the Mekong Delta was not that kind of heroes as he said. Really bad - and that five times, this autumn, as we have to believe the McCain-advisor. From both side, he adds (ofcourse). And the inventor of the famous Willy Horton -spot from 1988 (which used George H. Bush to defeat his opponent Dukakis like soft on crime-liberal) makes himself feel good in the same article about the following fight: “I feel like a child in a candy store.”

Results in Kentucky and Oregon

Kentucky and Oregon are quite different states
Kentucky is dominated by working-class voters while in Oregon there are more young and higher-educated voters
This is the difference which cause that relatively in first state Clinton has huge advantage over Obama ( 58 % - 28 % ) , in turn in the second one leads Obama ( 50 - 40 )
Obama spoke Sunday in front of what his campaign called his biggest audience to date -75,000 people on the banks of the Willamette River in Portland, Oregon.
In turn Clinton said on the same day in Kentucky that she's "running for the toughest job in the world."
Obama leads Clinton in total delegates, 1,904 to 1,717, according to a CNN survey. Obama has understood the political capacity of social networks, digital much better than Hillary Clinton. The senator has come late, and almost always wrong (without a sincere and deep digital strategy), the new and emerging. Obama sees the technology as a means "more", but as a reflection of organizing a new political culture. That is why much of the success of the senator among young people, who feel that the candidate spoke to them (talking) with their means and their codes, better than your opponent.

Barack Obama has managed to create a hope for change. "Hope" and "Change" is therefore the two words in question. When he says "Yes, we can" is claiming that the union is more than the sum. That together we are stronger than what they join. The community is more powerful than the sum of individuals or the powerful. So, yes, you can. His campaign has collected more than 226 million dollars, especially across small donations across Internet. Obama relies on a "army" of more than one million and a half persons that they have contributed money of their pocket to finance the efforts of communication of the democratic candidate.

More than ninety per cent has given 100 dollars or less, and forty one per cent has donated 25 dollars or less. If we compare the profile of his contributors, we see for example that the students have given 303.000 dollars to Obama; whereas to Hillary Clinton the youngest donors have given less than 100.000 dollars, and less than 20.000 dollars to John McCain.

Obama girl flirts with other one

Mike Gravel is one of the most peculiar candidates who aspire to the Presidency of The United States. It is obvious that there will be always starnge things happening in the American Elections, you just have to remind about Buch´s dubious win 8 years ago. Now, solutions are searched hard.

Clinton herself sent a letter to Obama with the request of a "fair and quick resolution" to the above mentioned problem.

"Dear Senator Obama,
This has been an historic and exciting campaign. Millions of new voters have been brought into the process and their enthusiasm for the Democratic Party and the principles for which you and I have fought and continue to fight is unprecedented.

One of the foremost principles of our party is that citizens be allowed to vote and that those votes be counted. That principle is not currently being applied to the nearly 2.5 million people who voted in primaries in Florida and Michigan. Whoever emerges as the Democratic nominee will be hamstrung in the general election if a fair and quick resolution is not reached that ensures that the voices of these voters are heard. Our commitment now to this goal could be the difference between winning and losing in November.

I have consistently said that the votes cast in Florida and Michigan in January should be counted. We cannot ignore the fact that the people in those states took the time to be a part of this process and to make their preferences known. When efforts were untaken by leaders in those states to hold revotes to ensure that they had a voice in selecting our nominee, I supported those efforts. In Michigan, I supported a legislative effort to hold a revote that the Democratic National Committee said was in complete compliance with the party's rules. You did not support those efforts and your supporters in Michigan publically opposed them. In Florida a number of revote options were proposed. I am not aware of any that you supported. In 2000, the Republicans won an election by successfully opposing a fair counting of votes in Florida. As Democrats, we must reject any proposals that would do the same.

Your commitment to the voters of these states must be clearly stated and your support for a fair and quick resolution must be clearly demonstrated.

I am asking you to join me in working with representatives from Florida and Michigan and the Democratic National Committee to arrive at a solution that honors the votes of the millions of people who went to the polls in Florida and Michigan. It is not enough to simply seat their representatives at the convention in Denver. The people of these great states, like the people who have voted and are to vote in other states, must have a voice in selecting our party's nominee.

Sincerely,
Hillary Rodham Clinton"

A few days ago the Michigan Democrats decided about a fair and quick solution to the problem:
giving Clinton 69 delegates (4 less than she would have when winning), Obama 59 delegates (although admitting that his name was not on the ballot).
Everybody is agreeing, actually the co-chairman of Clinton´s Michigan Campeign, but nevertheless Clinton does not unless she will be given the full amount of delegates she gained from the January primary. Just that primary where Obama´s name was missing on the ballot.

America is a great country, is it not?

Out of an intelligent American´s perception

Just to provide you with another perspective on the elections, watch the clip.

1. it reports on the actual situation of the elections so far
2. it depicts how media reacts and is monitored on each issue concerning the elections
3. it demonstrates the Americans´ carelessness, as you see in the last statement when drawing similarities between American Idol and American Elections

I do not think that any further comments need to be added.

McCain's campaign already speaks in Spanish

Yesterday it was celebrated the Five of May, the date that commemorates the battle of Puebla, in that the Mexican army defeated to the French troops. Who is going to win these elections, Clinton or Obama?

Every Indiana habitant knows the movie 'Hoosiers'. One of the best sport films. A movie about a basketball coach who is trying to be champion of Indiana with a bunch of losers. And they win.
Clinton was talking about this movie in her speech and said that nothing is impossible. It seems like she is trying to encourage herself. She already thinks she will loose?

Well the new polls say that Obama survived the speeches of Mr Wright. 50 percent chooses Obama and 38 percent chooses Clinton.

Furthermore the last days there were some fights about the 'gas tax break'. Clinton and McCain want a temporary reduction of the gas taxes, in connection with the high gas price. That temporary reduction should last the whole summer. Obama -and many economists with him think this proposal is a political stunt, which doesn't solve the real problem (the 'addiction' of foreign oil). Obama took a risk with his fundamental statement, but the voter agrees with him. And at this moment there is nothing more concerning the American population then the high gas price.

So let's wait for the elections!

McCain needs Hispanic votes

John McCain must know that he has just now his possible victory focused well in November, especially before you them fight hospitalize in the Democratic side and before increasingly Obama's visible mediocrity and Clinton. But to reach his victory, McCain must check seriously how to attract in deed the important Hispanic vote. The formula to be done by a high percentage of this vote takes root in using a simple tool: the communication on the part of his campaign so much in English like in Spanish.

The Hispanic voters are concentrated in several states that turn out to be crucial for next these presidential: Florida, New Mexico, Arizona, Nevada, Oregon, among others. What the Hispanic voters do in these states will define these elections. The power transformer of the Hispanics is real and the apparent disability of the Republicans to attract the Hispanic vote does not owe to that these do not share their ideas, but to the lack of strategies.

Obama and Clintons are able to attract the Hispanic vote. The first one with his Hispanic machinery already arranged for years and the second one re-affecting in the speech of the victimización, transplanted from the black case to the Hispanic and using "Yes, we can". Obama and Clintons, in addition, possess in their official pages of campaign spaces in Spanish. McCain, on the other hand, does not have any space for the Spanish, as if it did not exist.

Already we know that the English is the language that all the North Americans - avenge wherefrom they come - they have to learn for their own good and for their future, but it would be intelligent to go in Spanish to this Hispanic community that, in the bottom shares the republican and conservative values. The key is in showing them these values, does not matter so much in what language it is done.

Obama knows how to play basketball

We are accustomed to seeing many political leaders to practise sport. It does not stop being a form of communication on the figure of a politician. Their public image constructs themself across the speeches, the meetings of work, the interviews in the means, the articles of opinion, but also across information about more unknown aspects of their private life.

In The United States, and especially in electoral epoch, it is much more evident to see the different candidates practising someone of their interests accompanied by a journalist legion. In this campaign we have seen, for example, Mike Huckabee touching under with his group Capitol Offense and Barack Obama trying to play the skittles. This weekend, the democratic candidate organized an event in Kokomo's institute (Indiana), where he played a game of basketball with several students.

Clinton’s first appearance on the O'Reilly show

O'Reilly is the most popular of the Fox News programs.
Over the years O'Reilly has been a staunch critic of both the New York senator and her husband, former President Bill Clinton. Wright´s comments are resulting in the sliping of Obama´s favourability.

It is only eight points, which are between both candidates, one week ago it had been 19. Obama is currently leading 46 percent to 38.

The important issue now becomes money:
Does Clinton have it or does Obama lose it quickly?

Matter of fact, Obama´s decreasing lead and the changing of news media from “Hillary Clinton without any chance” to “Hillary Clinton could actually be nominated”, are bad news for Obama´s campeign.

Right now his campeign is very defensive, which has to be changed as soon as possible.
Have a look at those developments:

1. His opponent Clinton has invited Obama to a Lincoln-Douglas style debate, which is without any moderators. As Obama has rarely won in any debates, he is simply not agreeing, moreover he is refusing to participate.
2. Clinton´s campeign is taking advantage of Bill Clinton, since he has pushed the campeign to go negative and fast.
3. Obama will go on Fox News, which is not the best idea, as he is probably not completely aware of what he will be facing on Fox News.

What is needed to call Obama´s campeign not a defensive one? She paid $5 100 000 taxes. Her biggest competitor Barack Obama earned $4 238 165 with his wife and paid $1 396 772 taxes. Republican John McCain earned far less. His reported income from last year is $ 504 409 paying $105 647 taxes; however this number doesn't include many details of his wife income. All candidates gave a lot to charity Most Hillary Clinton - over $3 000 000.
The Clintons' largest source of income is fees the former president took in for making speeches, which totaled more than $10 million last year
Over 4 million of Obama's income came from sales of his two books, Dreams of My Father and the bestseller The Audacity of Hope
Most of McCain's individual earnings come from his Senate salary ($161,708) and sales of his five books ($176,508). That seemed the election news in the US dominating the weekend. It went differently. Judgements of Barack Obama during fundraiser in San Francisco Friday evening CNN were raised to `Breaking News. The newspaper ‘Politico’ even speaks of a possible change in the race, and states that `Bittergate‘ can give Obama damage sometimes more than its controversial minister.

What has happened?

Last week Sunday, the 6th of April, kept Obama fundraiser in San Francisco. For public of donors he looked ahead to the pre-elections in Pennsylvania on 22 April. The meeting was not accessible for the press, but by means of Huffington Post leak a sound prerecording. Concerning the voters in Pennsylvania, where the last years many factories are closed:
The objected to sense:

“… it’s not surprising then that they get bitter, they cling to guns or religion or antipathy to people who aren’t like them or anti-immigrant sentiment or anti-trade sentiment as a way to explain their frustrations.”

Hillary Clinton and John McCain took their chance. The complete weekend they outlined a picture of a candidate which feels himself better than the ordinary people, and for public of extremely rich Californian donors looking down on hardworking Americans. A candidate who depicts the voters as `bitter citizens, who express frustrations concerning their own situation in xenophobia. Someone for whom the church is an institute to find the ‘true’ and ‘escape’. And he said it all in the hedonic San Francisco, literally and figuratively far removed of Pennsylvania, where you can do everything better.

The difference with the question around minister Jeremiah `God Damn America’ Wright: this time Obama was speaking himself. And not Fox News, but a source - the Huffington post is the field of the progressives -, good for democrats, boosted the question.
Clinton attacked Obama on its judgements. Obama searched the counter-attack.

Here a compilation:

But Obama does not seem to get away. Also after its excuses to everyone who felt himself offended, the storm is still there. For Clinton, who saw Obama coming closer in the race for Pennsylvania, this was a big chance to win the pre-elections. And probably she looks ahead even further - for example to Indiana, also already a `working state’, where they will vote the 6th of May. Clinton reminded in that state the voters today how when she was a young little girl learned to shoot from her father, and how religion has influenced her life when she was young. In short: she likes however, ‘Guns & God’.

The Sunday evening gave accidentally a CNN-forum discussion about Pennsylvania on the programme, with religion as the topic. Clinton and Obama were debating, but kept both the word. Obama took the occasion for `damage control.

For me this accords two truths.

The first: in fact Obama’s judgements are not really shocking. In fact he repeats the central point of a book which has appeared since it is an obligatory book for every American who wants to understand politics: What The more frosted With Kansas? in 2004. In this book Thomas Frank is more or less talking about the same things.

Second truth: Obama formulated it less skilful than Frank. Because although we heard so far especially journalists and politicians concerning the question and ordinary voters still don’t Obama’s judgements were quite awkward in San Francisco. It reflects almost every weak spot: the doubts concerning his belief, his alleged arrogance, his image as unambiguous ‘liberal’ and especially: his image as a candidate of the elite. The candidate of Volvo-drivers, of the espresso drinkers and sushi lovers. Recently Obama went, nicely popular, to play bowling in front of the camera. He was not that good, but it didn’t matter that much. Now it is something different. Obama’s stereotypes about voters in Pennsylvania establish the attention on his own stereotype.

Hillary keeps on staying in

She believes Obama’s likely victory is a disaster-in-waiting. Moreover, she even thinks thinks that if Obama is the nominee, a likely Democratic victory would turn to a near-certain defeat, since Obama has serious problems with Jewish voters (goodbye Florida), working-class whites (goodbye Ohio) and Hispanics (goodbye, New Mexico).

Republicans will also ruthlessly exploit openings that Clinton — in the genteel confines of an intraparty contest — never could. Top targets: Obama’s radioactive personal associations, his liberal ideology, his exotic life story, his coolly academic and elitist style.
Now Clinton tries to gain more votes by attracting the almost forgotten Native Americans!
Hillary reasserted her support for tribal sovereignty. Recognizing that tribes are sovereign nations, as President, Hillary will seek to partner with tribes to improve health care, education, and housing for Native Americans living throughout the US, which are approximately 4.5 million American Indians and Alaskan Natives. If so, this will be my suggestion.

Obama will be the new president of the United States and Hillary Clinton will be the vice-president. Obama is a good leader with really good thoughts about changing the world. Clinton is on the other side a really smart woman. She knows a lot about politics, which will make a good combination. Al Gore will also work for Obama, what he already said, to help him with making the world more ecological.

With Obama in the lead, the oil-based war in Iraq will finally end. The taxes in the US will increase, which can make the insurances better. The country will get a more healthy status and many lives will be saved.

The criminality is now on a high level. It is legal to have weapons at your home. It is clear, it is you only need the weapon for making problems and not to protect yourself. Owners of shops have a gun to protect when somebody is robbing the store with.......a gun. So if there are no weapons, it can really save lifes. You can see it in Europe, where the criminality is not that high as in America.

So let's hope for a new, changing democratic country after november 2008!

Youtube about Obama and Clinton

Barack ObAMA AND Hillary Clinton politics and two most important candidates to win 2008 US elections are very famous in newspapers , TV , RADIO ....and also internet That’s one of the many alternate endings to Hillary Clinton’s original late-night phone call commercial that you can find on YouTube. Other interpretations have the call being answered by Bill Clinton (he’s expecting a call from the pizza delivery guy), Sesame Street’s Martian Yip Yip puppets, and Alfred, Batman’s butleralthough thera are many funny videos likehttp://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DMs-p5y6cvotehre is also post almost every interview ever filmedthere are some examples :http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2_mcgO3Iva0http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Gp8tOT-EoTwhttp://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3gOQF1giweQ
Political satire is flourishing too. "Obama girl," played by actress Amber Lee Ettinger, has become a hit factory for Barely Political. In her latest star turn, Ettinger is graphically inserted into a coffee-shop booth with Hillary Clinton, pleading with her to find her inner Obama Girl. "Can you see it’s hopeless?" Obama girl sings breathily. "It’s becoming Obama Nation. Is there any chance you’ll back off, so he’ll get the nomination?"
Even solo video makers working at home have a shot at a real audience. Lee Stranahan, a graphic artist for Access Hollywood who makes his own videos on the side, lucked into a gig with Greenwald’s Brave New Films after a campaign-related comedy video of his struck a chord. His November video riffed on the news that Rudy Giuliani had spent taxpayer money to protect his then-mistress, now wife, Judith Nathan. "I ended up doing it in five hours. I sent it to TPM -- I was an avid reader -- and to one or two other sites I liked." Marshall liked it and posted it on the site. The video ended up with 117,000 views on YouTube and more elsewhere. Greenwald liked it, and hired Stranahan to do a 3-minute animated cartoon about private equity financing.

Democrats VS Republicans

8 years long Bush was the boss of the world. Now there is a chance again to get a democratic country. If it would happen now, the US will change dramatically.

In America you are born republican or democratic. You don't become it, you are it. The difference is huge. Republicans = pro-war. Democrats = against war. Republicans = traditions, no changes. Democratics = change. Republicans = low taxes. Democratics = high taxes.

The gap is so big that the half of the whole population will be very dissapointed with the results of the elections. If the republicans win, the democratic people will be very dissapointed, because of another 4 years of republican domination.

And John McCain has the same opinions as Bush has. He is a fan of bush, so the chance of 12 years Bush-style is still available.

Me as a democratic really waits for changement. The campaign of Hillary Clinton must confront another crisis, this time by the resignation (or it stops) of the main consultant of campaign, Mark Penn, Delegated Advisor of the multinational of public relations Burson-Marsteller.

The past Friday "The Wall ßstreet Journal" published a information in which it told that the company of Penn was working for the Government of Colombia to obtain that the Congress approved the agreement of free commerce with this one country. In fact, it informed into which the 31 of March Mark Penn met with the Colombian ambassador in Washington to speak of this subject. Until there all good, but the problem is that Hillary Clinton firmly is against this agreement and the news of the meeting of Penn with the Colombian ambassador seated very badly to the senator and her equipment.

Penn the past emitted an official notice Friday in which it offered excuses and it affirmed to have committed a "error of judgment". Its reaction either did not seat anything well to the Government of Colombia, that decided to terminate its contract with the company of Penn, that ascended to 700,000 dollars (about 450,000 euros). But the situation, far from tranquilizing itself, has been more and more tense and has finished with the resignation of Mark Penn like main advisor of the campaign of Hillary Clinton. Penn began to work for the Clinton in 1996, facing the re-election of Bill Clinton. Later it helped Hillary to gain his bench of senator by New York.

No day without news about America

The United States are everywhere. Every day you see or hear some news about America. Most of the times it is about the elections. The US is and wants to be the most powerful country in the world. The media is helping with that, because they make the news in the States and it is spread around the world.
You can't put the tv on or you will see the elections of America. Probably these elections are one of the most important elections all time. One reason is because of the war what is going on in Iraq. When McCain will when, it will not change, when Clinton or Obama wins the war will end. For the people in Iraq and the American soldiers and their families, these elections are crucial. The other reason why these elections are important is because of the 8 years of republican power. If the democrats will win this time, things will change rapidly.
The last reason I like to mention is the change for a female president or a black president. This is something never happened in the States before. Also the US, which are very conservative it would be quite a suprise.
Because of all these things, the US are everywhere. Pensilvania is the one of the most important regions of the USA ,it is the 6'th largest state in USA with populations of 12,440,621That means a lot of voters so both candidates are really interested in winning in this state In survey which was released couple days ago she got 3 points more.Specifically, Clinton has lost ground among white voters and men: She now holds an 18-point lead among whites, down from a 25-point gap in last week's poll, and trails Obama by 4 points among males. Last week, the two drew equal support from men.But Clinton continues to remain strong with her core voting bloc of older voters and white women, and likely Pennsylvania Democratic voters rate her more favorably than Obama -- 71 percent for Clinton and 67 percent for ObamaAmong voters under age 44, support for Obama was up 4 percentage points to 55 percent. Clinton dropped 2 points to 40 percent support in that age group, the poll found.Fifty-two percent of Pennsylvania Democrats said the economy was the single most important issue in deciding their primary vote, followed by 22 percent who said the war in Iraq and 15 percent who cited health care.Voters who list the economy as the top issue gave Clinton a small 49 percent to 45 percent margin over Obama, down from 53 percent to 39 percent. Voters who say the war is the preeminent issue back Obama 51 percent to 44 percent for Clinton. The poll of the 1,340 Pennsylvania likely Democratic primary voters was conducted April 3-6 with a margin of error of plus or minus 2.7 percentage points.

Internet and the Elections

One of the characteristics that more calls the attention of the elections of The United States is the fact that the anonymous people overturn in them, dedicating their time, their money and their work. Now, thanks to Internet, we can see all kinds of videos of support or of attack a candidate, some with better and worse fortune. These days one can see on Internet a song, "Raining McCain" interpreted by three ladies, and they declare themselves funs of the republican aspirant. Nevertheless, after the phenomenon Obama girl, they have it complicated. Penn was hired by the Columbian government to lobby with the United States about free trade between both countries. The problem is that Clinton was always against this. She was trying to get votes from workers who were also against it. So Penn had to quit.
The bad thing for Clinton was that Obama had always said she should not have connections with lobbyists.
The last few weeks Clinton had a lot of problems which were helping Obama. Obama was never in the news with these kind of problems. Clinton now has two choices to make. Either she quits the presidential race, or she tries to fight back and shows her mentality.
In the next weeks we will see what Clinton will choose and if it is the right choice.

Clinton gone wild

There are plenty of strange things happening in those elections as I have already slightly intimated.

But it can be even weird!

Mark Penn, Clinton´s chief campeign strategist, has been fired because the Clinton´s were not pleased with his work. Additionally, it was disclosed that Penn met with representatives of the Colombian government to help promote a free trade agreement Clinton opposes.
What does this mean for Hillary´s campeign? Well, definetly a change, a turningpoint. If it will be a positive or negative one, time will show soon.

This is still not all. As Clinton tries to gain votes by capturing mainly women´s attention, she now revealed a fantastic and also lunatic plan for finding a cure against breast cancer. Moreover, she wants to spend 300 million dollar a year in increased funding for breast cancer research at the National Institutes of Health, the National Cancer Institute, and the Department of Defense Congressionally Directed Medical Research Program. in increased funding for breast cancer research at the National Institutes of Health, the National Cancer Institute, and the Department of Defense Congressionally Directed Medical Research Program. Barak Obama cannot win a general election against presumptive Republican nominee Senator McCain.

Clinton surrogates are telling superdelegates that Obama cannot win the general election. Sources with direct knowledge of the conversation between Clinton and Bill Richardson prior to the Governor's endorsement of Obama say she told him flatly, "He cannot win, Bill. He cannot win."
How come Clinton is so sure to win?
Firstly, her campaign is full of negativity.
Secondly, Obama is actually coming closer to McCain, which means he is still able to win. It is shown in the latest polls.
Thirdly, Obama wants Al Gore for president of Global Climate Change. The huge smear of Mr. George W. Bush, who rises each day according to the tone of his performance, it generates a profound transformation. Now there are three candidates willing to return to United States international credibility it has lost in a certain way by its current president.

Hillary Clinton, a stronge candidate, is losing points because of the war that has been created with his fellow party Obama. She remains steadfast in its decision to leave it to the primary to decide who will be the next candidate Democrat to the White House and once again insist that will not abandon the struggle that remains closed with Barack Obama. The former first lady has been compared even with the boxer Rocky Balboa. Can you imagine that Rocky Balboa had risen up to the half of the stairs of the Museum of Art of Philadelphia (where the boxer was in the habit of training) and he was saying: Well, does it seem to me that already it's sufficient? The senator asked the assistants to the political meeting organized by a union group.

These Hillary Clinton's declarations take place in the middle of an increasing call on the part of different leaders of the Democratic Party to put end to the intense battle between the senator and her rival Barack Obama, a battle in which Hillary takes disadvantage.

For now, Barack Obama has 1,631 delegates and has won in 25 states, while Hillary Clinton has taken 1,501 delegates and has been awarded 16 states. The delegates needed for the nomination are 2,024. Let's see what happens in the next weeks.

Clinton don’t think about stopping

Hillary Clinton doesn’t want to stop the race to become president. But due to Bush-policy, which means war in Irag and Afghanistan (trillon dollars), which also means taxcuts for the wealthiest Americans, the US has now no other possibility than to take credits from foreign countries in order to keep their economy going.

The Americans begin to recognize what is happening around them and that they are now in the worst economic situation since WorldWar 2. Consequently the economic crisis is an extremly hot issue to be discussed and solved for American Politicians, since the US´s population is worried, too.

But who is the one to be trusted? Who is the one to lead America out of this situation?

Firstly, there is McCain of the Republican Party. As we all know, Bush is also a Republican and has done a lot of mistakes, of wrong decisions. Moreover, McCain is an expert concerning war-tactics but does not know a little thing about economy. Anyway, I do not think that McCain is worth even to talk about. The people are fed up with Bush-politics.

Secondly, there is the Democratic Party which members are Obama and Clinton.

Unfortunately, the only thing I could make out of Obama´s speech was: McCain is very bad, Bush is very bad, the recent years have been very bad and he is the one to do everything better. I am very sorry for this to say, but Obama did not convince me at all.

Whereas Clinton made some interesting statements. She believes in a president to know about economy and who is very fast in making the correct decisions. Please have a look on the videos and You can see what I mean.

http://www.care2.com/politics/video-roundup-candidates-the-economy.html

Clinton over-acts

The staff of Clinton needs a lot of work to fix Clinton's big mistake. At a campaign congress Clinton told an exciting story about her terrifying experience in Bosnia. She said she had to run for her life to avoid the snipers.
Unluckily for her the occured tv images tell something else. She walked calm out of her plane and talked with some Bosnian people. Clinton admitted her lie.
For me this a killing mistake. She makes her stories bigger to show the people she is a tough woman. A way to get more votes. Now it is a pathetic and manupulative lie. This shows you can't be a president of the most powerful country of the world. This makes the chance even bigger for Obama to win the elections.

A fight against McCain, which will be very diffucult to win.

Is it all about reputation?

I have been following the American Elections for three weeks now. And I am afraid, somehow it does not make much sense for me: voting for one candidate and not for a party.
How is it possible that there are thousands of dollars spent, in order to make one candidate more popular than the other, although they are both of the same party.
Would it not be more efficient to collaborate instead of fighting each other? Just take into account the worsen american economical situation.

What is it all about, if Obama´s middlename is Hussein, which statements his former pastor Wright made, if Obama is partly white. Who wants to know about his mother?
I am really not able to make up my mind.
Who cares if Clinton has already been the First Lady of the US and now wants to become president. What is so wrong about being a woman and govern a country?

I have already heard about the Americans and their educational level. But is it really that bad? How come that such a huge country mainly consists of jerks who are easy to fool and to controll? I cannot believe this is the way how it works, how to win an election.

For more information:
http://www.reliablepolitics.com/2008/03/rev-wright-off-obamas-campaign.html
http://voaelectionblog.blogspot.com/2008/03/wright-stuff.html

America´s Voters

Last friday (7th of March) Tony Dokoupil put an interesting report on Newsweek Web Exclusive about the disunity among democratic voters.

According to the latest poll, which was based on telephone interviews with 1,215 registered voters March 5-6, Obama is the favored nominee among 45 percent of Democrats, compared with 44 percent for Clinton.

The poll also found that Democratic voters are ready to rally around the candidate they trust most to improve the economy, amid fears of a recession. But neither candidate has been able to lock up that issue, or many others, and the vast majority (69 percent) of Democratic voters now leave aside the crucial question of who runs on top.

So what is important for the Democratic voters?
Dokoupil enumerates

47 percent say: "the economy and jobs" (Obama, 43 percent; Clinton, 42 percent)

13 percent state "healthcare"

16 percent "Iraq War"

30 percent emphasise: the ability to bring about change (Obama with 47 percent to 39 percent)

21 percent trust: the candidate´s experience is gaining ground (Clinton with 61 percent to 22 percent)

To know more about America´s Voters and which differences there are existing among Americans, just see http://www.newsweek.com/id/119953.

Obama fights back

Clinton has won 'Crucial Tuesday', but she has still less delegates than Obama. So has she really won it? She was lucky the media didn't gave up on her. For the first time Clinton was attacking Obama. The media joined her. Now Obama wants to fight back. And I think it's going to work.

Clinton said Obama doesn't has the capacity to deal with a national crisis. She can. But who is crying when there is only one question asked? I think the pressure of being a president is to much for her. She needs her husband to do the job.

Obama is still in the lead and it will stay till the end of these elections.

Democrats will rule

The United States of America have a major impact on the whole world. We simply cannot deny the extent of globalisation or in other words americanisation. Consequently we should know at least a little bit about the present American Elections, since the outcome will be causing changes. Changes not only for the Americans but also for all the other nations:

There will be effects on

war (Iraq, Afghanistan)

environmental protection

economy

For more information you can have a short and clear overview about the methods of American Elections on www.guardian.co.uk/world/2007/may/09/. It is a beginner's guide to US Elections and worth reading it.

Since You know that in America there are only two huge parties to vote for, Democrats or Republicans, you do not have any choice. Either beeing a Democrat and voting for Clinton or Obama or beeing a Republican and voting for Huckabee, McCain or Paul.

There is no doubt in the fact, that one candidate of the Democratic Party will win the elections:

a white woman or an African-American man.

Hillary Clinton; Barak Obama

After eight years of George W. Bush's impotence to rule (a Republican to say there has not been any evolution on our planet, a man to go into war with Iraq and Afghanistan in the name of God and not even accepting God's represantative Pope John Paul II wish not to do so) it seems as if everything would be possible in the present American Election.

In my oppinion it is a great relieve to know that finally intelligent people will govern the United States of America again, the Democrats.

It is open to say wheter Clinton will win or Obama. I think it would be interesting a woman governing the States. But probably Obama will win.

Nervertheless I want to repeat myslef: they are Democrats, so for the world's nations there will be no worse disadvantage. We are looking forward!
